In 1986, H.R. and Frances Sledd founded Beneficial Electrical Associates, Inc. With over 25 years of electrical experience in the petroleum industry, H.R.’s desire was to create a company that would fulfill the needs of fleet fueling operations across the nation. Officially incorporated in 1987, Beneficial Electrical Associates, Inc. recognized the need for a “Design/Build” electrical contractor agile enough to respond to the needs of the rapidly growing commercial/industrial field, which now provides the basis for the vast majority of the company’s overall business.

In 1991, Beneficial Electrical Associates, Inc. expanded its offerings to include custom retail software, as well as provide data processing and consultation services. To naturally expand on their growing business model, they soon began specializing in data communications, networking services, and integration systems as well.

In 1996, Beneficial Electrical Associates, Inc. rebranded itself, and officially became Beneficial Systems. Over the past two decades, we have expanded our expertise in the commercial automated fueling field to encompass the entire set of products and services required to operate in the commercial fueling industry – including the designing, building, and maintenance of state-of-the art commercial fleet fueling facilities.

In 2011, we celebrated our 25-year anniversary. Over this successful span of time, we have found our niche in the industry – providing specialized products and services targeting the commercial fueling market, including trucking and freight terminal fueling, commercial fueling operations operated by private businesses, as well as those run by municipalities. Beneficial Systems provides a one-stop solution provider to keep any commercial fueling facility “up and pumping” 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
